Darlly Maia - "voz e violão".

It is an intimate concert, where Darlly Maia accompanied by his guitar presents MPB classics in a fluent way. It is a "chat" among friends, during which he interacts with the audience by telling stories and anecdotes about composers and their songs. This concert has been on the programme in Barcelona for five years, but it is renewed every season in order to guarantee its success among the audience. This concert is ideal for intimate ambiences, personalized bars or small theatres.

Darlly Maia & Trío Forróbódó.

Forró is a regional Brazilian popular music with roots in the north east of the country. It is a joyful, contagious and funny music. Forró has rural origins and it is meant to to de danced to   and enjoyed. Nowadays this music is well known all over the country and it is almost as famous as pop music.

In this concert with Trío Forróbódó Darlly Maia brings to Europe a kind of Brazilian music not very well known outside the country. With this show he has travelled all over Europe and registered great success with both audiences and critics. The concert is perfect for open-air stages, popular parties and world music festivals. A scaled down version could be performed for smaller, indoor venues.

Darlly Maia drum&brazz project.

Drum&Brazz is a Project which searches in the richness of Brazilian music for its deepest harmonic expression. It is an experiment of classic styles sonority like bossa nova, samba or pop from a modern and creative perspective. The result is the creation of soft and involving atmospheres obtained through a warm, sober and elegant sonority.

The singular presence of the acoustic guitar, so characteristic of Brazilian music, accompanied by urban filtered sounds offers an extraordinary result from an electronic perspective. It is a concert of actual sonority, which can adjust to a young audience, fond of elaborated music, as well as a more adult audience who like Brazilian music.
