CENTRE FOR SEAFARER'S RIGHTS :

Every afternoon a group of lawyers specialised in maritime law offer their services from 7.30 to 9.00 pm, from Monday to Friday, giving legal assessment and solving the problems that seafarers may encounter. In urgent circumstances, the team works at any hour of the day.

In addition, the CDM deal with subjects relating to immigration laws, work permits, retirement pensions and unemployment benefits. From time to time, they deal with judicial processes.

It is also important to emphasize the advice that CDM gives to the Spanish centers of the Apostleship of the Sea, and its participation in the ICMA standing delegation for the ILO.
