SPORTS AT THE APOSTLESHIP OF THE SEA : (Click over the photos to enlarge them) 2003 : FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT FOR SEAFARERS (THE MEDITERRANEAN SUMMER CUP 2003) FINAL CLASSIFICATION 2003 PHOTO WINNER CEREMONY 2003 "European Stars" 2004 : THE MEDITERRANEAN SUMMER CUP 2004 MATCH RESULTS SUMMER CUP 2004 FINAL CLASSIFICATION 2004 On Saturday 27th November the 2nd winner ceremony of the Mediterranean and Black Sea Summer Cup. The crew of “Costa Fortuna”, with up to 14 scores, was the winner. 43 matchs have been played in different ports (27 at Yalta, and 16 at Barcelona). Cup and medals were presented by: Jörg Pfautsch (Co-ordinador of the International Sport for Seafarers), Enric Benages (Autoridad Portuaria de Barcelona) and Ricard Rodríguez-Martos (Director of the Apostleship of the Sea in Barcelona) PHOTO WINNER CEREMONY 2004 "Costa Fortuna" 2005 : MATCH RESULTS SUMMER CUP 2005 AND FINAL CLASSIFICATION On 24th April 2006, the 3rd Football Cup of the Mediterranean and the Black Sea was presented to the "Island Escape" 's crew, who has been the 2005 winner with 5 points. A total amount of 22 ships have played 39 matches (23 in Yalta and 16 in Barcelona). The local teams have been very good and this is the reason why the punctuation of the winner is not very high. The price-giving ceremony has been chaired by Jörg Pfautsch (Co-ordinator of the International Sport for Seafarers), Enric Benages (Autoridad Portuaria de Barcelona) and Ricard Rodríguez-Martos (Director of the Apostleship of the Sea in Barcelona). PHOTO WINNER CEREMONY 2005 "Island Escape" 2006 : MATCH RESULTS SUMMER CUP 2006 AND FINAL CLASSIFICATION The cup will be presented to the "Delphin" crew on May 2007 in Hamburg 2007 : On 29th April 2008, the 5th Football Cup of the Mediterranean and the Black Sea was presented to the "Costa Fortuna" 's crew, who had already been the 2004' winner. The tournament took place in the Ports of Yalta, Tenerife, Málaga and Barcelona. The "Costa Fortuna" has got the tenth place at the World's Cup.
