But, this iis what we should expect from this team. They can beat anyone but they can also loose to anyone. Out of their six losses only two are against winning teams. Those six teams have a combine record of 81-99 (.450). Now compare that to the other elite teams in the league. Capetown has four losses and three are against teams with winning records and despite one of those losses being against Alaska the four teams have a record of 62-56 (.525). Cancun also has six losses and five are against teams with winning records. The loss against a team with a loosing record was Sacramento (13-14). The six teams have a combined record of 103-71 (.592). Defending champion Oregon has the most losses of the bunch but all seven losses are againsst teams with winning records (including Brooklyn) with a combine record of 148-53 (.736). So what does this all mean? It means that in many ways Brooklyn is the same team that prognosticators expected to see. They are tremendously talented butyoung and prone to mistakes. It seems that one of their big mistakes is overlooking poor teams. ======================================================== (27- 4) Capetown 33 22 25 18 - 98 (10-18) Nebraska 26 20 25 17 - 88 ----------------------------------------- GAME MVP Ldrs Capetown Nebraska ----------------------------------------- Obafemi Pts O.Mabruke 29 R.Base 36 Mabruke Reb 2 tied w/ 10 R.Base 12 (9th) Ast E.Manning 10 J.Timmons 8 ======================================================== (16-13) Gabon 26 14 28 28 -
