Meredy's Operation

On June 30th Meredy was operated on by a team of expert surgeons in Barcelona. After an operation lasting several hours she was moved to the intensive care unit where she began the slow process towards recovery.

 

Now, a few weeks later, Meredy once again has a smile on her face as you can see in the picture below.

 

All is not over for this brave young girl however, she faces at least 3 further operations to correct problems with her vision, hearing and maxillary area. However she is definitely over the most difficult and dangerous stage in her treatment.
