Well, the thing is that a short time ago in lemon64 forums (http://www.lemon64.com/forum) someone told something about this project, and how sad it was it never took off completely.22/02/2005 - 0:44 GMT
The reason of it is that I was waiting sometime to have a number of pics and serial numbers and put them all at once.
Then I had a problem with the computer hard disk and lost everything: the pics, the mails, the emails...
...and I have received no more submissions.
And that is. So you can still send submissions to enter the list.
126 entries by now.
Yesterday it was exactly 2 years that I hadn't updated the site. As a celebration, I decide to get all I've received during this time nd put it in the list.21/02/2003 - 17:29 GMT
Thanks all: SirChagus, nazz, Christian Johansson, georg, Tonyboy, Zed Yago, kpalmer, Kimble, doh, Halvor, Jack Eden, sys2074, Michael Bünning, Timmy Brolin, Micro and Znake, for believing in the project and for sending the pictures although not having been updated in all this time.

Thank you!
Today we have a special update. I'm receiving more and more pictures of not so common C64s. Today we present the first C64GS of the list, the "console" that Commodore launched as last reincarnation of our beloved C64. For those that doesn't know how it looks, they can go to the "pictures" section and watch it there. All it courtesy of Donni.15/02/2003 - 0:15 GMT
On another hand, Frank Ebinger sent 6 pictures: 2 C64, 2 C64C, 1 C64G and a SX-64.
95 entries by now.
Thank you!
I'm back!06/11/2002 - 0:15 GMT
After various months, here I am again. During this time, some people had offered alternative solutions and even hosting for this site. They even still have sent pictures. To all of them:
Thank you!
As you may see, the site design have changed at all. Not always a new look means added complexity to the site. This will definitively do that any people with any browser in any platform could access the site. All anti-rip and anti-leech features are disabled.
And the best way to celebrate the return is adding entries to the list. Donni with his SX-64, Thelric with his breadbin, LogicDeLuxe amd his Aldi-C64, Frank Exner amd his good ol' C64 and Daniel O'Shea with the same machine makes the list grow, with a bit less to reach 100 units.
And a correction: When updating the site I found that I left behind a label sent by René Gouws in july, 2002. I put that label in the 41th place, following arriving order.

12 new pictures from several users from Finland and other countries. Tonyboy, muto, who has 3 SX-64's, Akira from Argentina, who has 1, Roberto Nicoletti from Italy and Christian Rethmann.29/10/2002 - 0:48 GMT
82 entries by now.
I've tried to make the site text-browser compatible, due to a visitor suggestion. Send your comments if it still isn't.
Thank you!
Just a new item in the menu for you to see some pictures sent by happy "listed" users.27/10/2002 - 23:35 GMT
Thanks to Donni, Silver Dream and xIII/WOW there are 10 C64s more in the list.22/10/2002 - 21:22 GMT
70 entries by now.
There is a new menu item: Banners. This will show a page with a few banners I made to promote the site. Just a curiosity.
Thank you!
Six new pictures today. RaYzor, Subjik, Ady Gilmer and Lobo took some of their valuable time and sent 1, 1, 2 and 2 pictures respectively of their C64s.21/10/2002 - 20:50 GMT
60 entries by now.
Thank you!
Several additions today: Bill B. sent one picture of a C64. He has the C64 number 50 in the list. WiDDY, who currently is coding a C64 game, sent 4 pictures of his many C64s.15/10/2002 - 00:24 GMT
54 entries by now.
Thank you!
Half-Saint is a regular picture provider. This time he sent one of a C64C, a later C64 variant. You will see that the common info in the label is printed in the plastic, and only the serial is in a sticker.27/09/2002 - 22:54 GMT
49 entries by now.
Thank you!
Douglas Beattie Jr. sent a picture of a C64.19/09/2002 - 22:22 GMT

Half-Saint sent a picture of a C64. The last time I updated was a month ago! I'm running a QUIZ in the Lemon64 forum. You can enter that contest and try to beat WiDDY, who has 10 points right now.17/08/2002 - 22:52 GMT
47 entries by now.
Thank you!
R'lyeh sent pictures of his 2 C64s since 09/08, but I don't have all the time I wish for updating the site. And the time between updates is so long because this is not a news site, and that is why it is a bit boring... If you want to get to the real action, go to Lemon64. You will find the link in the Main section.30/07/2002 - 1:12 GMT
46 entries by now.
Thank you!
Peter K Sent pictures of 2 of his 3 C64s since 21/07, but I'm on holidays and I took a break from the site. Now it's time to continue the work. Sorry for the delay!09/07/2002 - 23:41 GMT
44 entries by now.
Thank you!
René Gouws finished sending labels from his C64 collection, and one of this last batch is a circuit board in an aftermarket case. It has NO serial number but I included the label as a reference.04/07/2002 - 0:13 GMT
FRaNKy sent two labels of his collection.
Akira sent a label and a picture (click here ) of an argentinian-made C64 model, under the brand Drean. I wonder if those C64 "clones" were built by Commodore with the other brands or directly by that companies.
42 entries by now.
Thank you!
René Gouws found another C64s and sent me their respective pictures. It seems that I will create some day a ranking on wich user have the highest number of C64s.01/07/2002 - 12:04 GMT
ObE said me that the SX-64 he has is PAL, so the list is has been corrected. He told me that is quite remarkable that the serial numbers of SX-64s are the production order, too. So he has the #544 built in Germany!!
34 entries by now.
Thank you!
As you may seen, most of the core contents of the site have been translated into spanish (castilian, to be more exact). Besides being my native language, there are many C64 users that deserve to be able to access this information in this language and that way contribute to the project.
René Gouws another 2 pictures C64s he has, just like Steppe did, and Steppe even sent a picture of his C128, but we are only listing C64s by now. Yeah, I know about the C64 mode, but only a C64 is a C64!.27/06/2002 - 22:37 GMT
And we have a special listing today: The first SX-64! Yes, ObE sent me the label of a C64 and another one of a SX-64. We all knew about this model, but this is the first time I see a regular user have one. Just one question: Is it PAL, SECAM or NTSC? How to guess the TV standard?.
29 entries by now.
Thank you!
René Gouws sent a picture of his C64. We have now 23.26/06/2002 - 0:19 GMT
Thank you!
A lot of work in improving the site. Layout changed to look-like-a-real-C64, and other technical stuff. Sorry, but I haven't received new pictures. I have to spread the word again.25/06/2002 - 13:50 GMT
I will try to create the site the most look-like-a-real-C64 I can. Let's see what can I do.24/06/2002 - 23:57 GMT
Someone told me that is not good to have a site with only a resolution in mind. So here you have the site retouched to fit in any resolution, except the intro, that is meant to be 1024x768 viewed, but can be seen in 800x600 as well.24/06/2002 - 22:42 GMT
If you are here you surely have seen the new intro page. Do you like it?24/06/2002 - 12:47 GMT
Half-Saint found another C64 and here we have it, so we have 22.21/06/2002 - 18:07 GMT
Thank you!
It seems there are some patterns in the serial numbers, in relation to where the C64-s where built and sold. Most of them are 9 characters long, but I have seen 8 and 10 ones.
New layout and design for the page. Easier navigation and better appareance, but a lot of work to do.23/06/2002 - 19:28 GMT
I work as I learn, so changes will be made soon.
Have a nice weekend!
Viscid sent one picture label, so we have now 21 entries.19/06/2002 - 21:40 GMT
Thank you!
The initial flow of pictures has gone down. I hope that people get time and willing to send more.

Raymond Day found another C64 he has, so they are 10!18/06/2002 - 22:35 GMT
Thanks to Vai, who sent me one label picture and Raf who sent me 3, so we have now 20 entries in the list.
Thank you ALL.
As many of you may suspect or know, my native language is not English. Some time ago I saw about C64 being called breadbox, but some users call it breadbin so I though I was wrong and I changed breadbox to breadbin in all the site. If you think both ways are right or none of them is, I will change to classic.
HUGE UPDATE! Thanks to Raymond Day I have added 9 pictures to the list. This guy had almost a C64 shop in his house! I have to be thankful to Ray because he did a hard and great work to have these pictures available to this site. Ray, once more, Thank you!18/06/2002 - 13:55 GMT
As you can see in a couple of days we have now 15 entries in the list, and many C64 users offered to send their pictures as soon as they have them ready. Thank you ALL.
Also, due to a change in the hosting server, visitors count is reset. Any way, I added 250 to the count.
Added this site to http://www.c64.cc by a mail suggestion. Also, added a new column in the list, with a word about the computer being PAL or NTSC.18/06/2002 - 12:29 GMT
It seems this is working. Thanks to our friends Half-Saint and jt-3d we have now 4 pictures added to the list.18/06/2002 - 09:09 GMT
Thank you!
I opened this "news" section because I'm doing some updates to the site. If you were some of the first visitors, you will notice that there are some banners of C64 sites in the main page. This is because that is the way to spread the word of the existence of this site.
Also some of you made some suggestions and I included them in the updates. You will see now that in the list there is an extra column: Type. You will see there the type of C64 referred.
I have received mail with many data but no pictures. I understand that many of you will NOT have scanner or digital camera to take a picture of the label of the C64, and I ask you a bit of dedication and take you C64 to anyone who has one of these devices. I am really glad to have people who are interested in this site, so with everybody's effort this project will go further.
If I see that really *MANY* people can't send their pictures, I will create a list of "no pictures" C64-s. Thank you, anyway.
