Two Tricky
ANGEL
Einar Bardason
Came
flying into my life
Like a shooting star
So open hearted
then
I was just a joker
But you the queen of hearts
And so we parted
But
now I feel you, closing in
You pick me up and take me there
(
Ohho )
Angel - show me a sign
Come shoot me with your arrow
Right through this heart of mine
Angel
– show me the way
I’ll walk the straight and narrow
So hit me when I say –
Oooh Angel – fly me away
If
love can be forever
A minute or a day
Its no illusion
I
know I’m gonna find you
Somwhere in the cloud’s
Of my confusion
But
now I feel you, closing in
You pick me up and take me there
(
Ohho )
Angel - show me a sign
Come shoot me with your arrow
Right through this heart of mine
Angel
– show me the way
I’ll walk the straight and narrow
So hit me when I say –
Oooh Angel – fly me away
But
now I see you, closing in
You pick me up and take me there
(
Ohho )
Angel - show me a sign
Come shoot me with your arrow
Right through this heart of mine
Angel
– show me the way
I’ll walk the straight and narrow
So hit me when I say –
Oooh Angel – fly me away
But
now I see you, closing in
You pick me up and take me there
(
Ohho )
Angel - show me a sign
Come shoot me with your arrow
Right through this heart of mine
Angel
– show me the way
I’ll walk the straight and narrow
So hit me when I say –
Oooh Angel – fly me away

Biographies
Einar Bardarson, composer, author
Einar’s
talent for writing hits has been evident for several years. To date,
three of his songs have reached the number one spot in the Icelandic Top 40,
sung by three different artists, making Einar the only songwriter with that
honour.
Among bands Einar has supplied with hits is Skee-mo, the pop sensation which
reigned as kings of pop in the late nineties in Iceland. Their first hit was
“How Can You Leave Me”, composed by Einar and sung by Gunnar Olason, one of
TwoTricky’s lead singers. Einar is also working on songs for the debut solo
album of Einar August (The Icelandic entry in Stockholm 2000).
Einar, who is born in 1972, is also known as Iceland’s leading pop and club
promoter. He is often thought of as a key man behind Skee-mo’s phenomenal
success. His cooperation with Iceland’s leading artists, musicians,
photographers, filmmakers and fashion gurus has turned TwoTricky into his
most challenging project so far.
Magnus Thor Sigmundsson, author
Magnus
Thor, born in 1948 in Keflavik, is equally known for his musical
skills as a guitarist, singer, songwriter and lyricist who’s had a long run
of hits over the years. He started out as one half of the duo Magnus and
Johann in the early seventies, later fronting the pop group Change. He has
released numerous solo albums one of which contained one of Iceland’s most
loved pop songs “Ísland er land þitt” (Iceland, Your Country).
This 1989
composition has earned Magnus a unique status among fellow composers as it
has become a true pop anthem.
TwoTricky
The
Icelandic duet TwoTricky consists of musicians Gunnar Olason and Kriss
Gislason along with the dancers Yesmine Olsson and Nanna Jonsdottir. The
cooperation proved successful in the national final, where their
presentation of Einar Bardarson’s Angel was the uncontested winner, beating
the other contestants by a considerable margin.
Kriss, singer
Born
in Westman Islands in 1969, Kriss has been on the Icelandic music scene
for the last ten years. Having been a keyboardist and singer in a number
of
well known bands. Kriss’s interests have moved towards the theatre. For the
past three years he has been trusted with leading roles in shows such as
ABBA, Bee Gees, Queen and now the latest, Cliff Richards and the Shadows in
Iceland’s largest venue for musicals, Broadway.
Gunnar Olason, singer, guitarist
Gunnar
has been a regular cast member in the dreams of young girls and the
nightmares of their fathers, as leader of Pop sensation Skee-mo for the past
few years. As lead guitarist and singer of Skee-mo, Gunnar’s claim to fame
came fast with pop emblem “How Can You Leave Me” in 1997. Gunnar who is born
1976, is the youngest of three brothers who all have gone into the music
business professionally.
Yesmine Olson, dancer, choreographer
Yesmine
is born in 1972 in Sri Lanka, and started her dancing career in
Sweden, where she was brought up. Her work includes choreography for The
Backstreet Boys, and dancing for Take That, Eternal and All Saints. Yesmine
is currently embarking on a singing career, and stunned the crowd at recent
Icelandic Radio Music awards with her performance of her song “Fallen”.
Nanna Jonsdottir, dancer
Nanna
Jonsdottir who is born 1974, has been dancing since she was a young
girl. Winning all kinds of dance competitions both as a solo dancer and with
her dance company.
Nanna has been Yesmine’s partner in crime since Yesmine came to Iceland.
