OUR EXPERIENCE DURING 37 YEARS

On its arrival in our factory, the first step is the measurement of the feedscrew to determine the degree of wear suffered.
This wear is due to the abrasion of the plastics and the friction of the thread of the feedscrew in the barrel.
We continue with the manual filling (no automated process can reach the hardness of 72HRC necessary to reduce the wear due to friction) with a material which, apart from its HARDNESS, is NITRURATED and has ANTI-FRICTION properties.
The next step is the rectifying of the entire surface, sides and axle of the feedscrew.
Finally the external diameter is adjusted (within the tolerances of its original diameter) to the barrel which has previously been grilled.

Husillos Plásticos is a specialist in this area too, since we are able to make any piece either from the original design plan or from a sample. Not only are we able to do this for old machines but also, in some cases, we can replace new machines whose parts are difficult to obtain or with an excessive delivery time
