This word is Tumma- طم "then, and, then again, but". It's a
ث (a tooth with three dots above)
plus a م.
When a tooth comes before a miym ميم, it's usually
written upwards (stroke 1). Then you link downwards to the miym ميم.
Stroke 2 here is shaped like a six, and consists of (A) the connection
line between the two letters plus (B) the triangle mentioned in the page
the Knot miym ميم. This six should have a very small hole, or better still,
no hole at all. Stroke 3 in the figure is not right:
it should cover the hole of stroke 2. Now copy the figure, while thinking
to yourself "one-two-three-four".
Now, the letters س, ش, ص and ض also end with a tooth. This tooth is also drawn upwards before a miym ميم.
This reads bsm بسم (which might stand for bismi- بسم, "in the name of"
or basama- بسم "he smiled"). The third tooth of the س is
linked to the م by a six-shaped stroke, like above.
