Long Strokes, Unjoined

Your first homework: fill one page with strokes. First read the section the 'alif stroke and make sure you've got the right writing materials. Draw a lot of vertical strokes in the first page of the notebook. This is harder than it looks. You should keep track of all this:

In the figure you can see that the head of each stroke is not exactly above its foot, but over a point placed a bit to the left. The distance from that point to the foot should be less than half a square, preferably much less. The exact amount is not very important, but all strokes should be parallel.

The strokes I've drawn above are not absolutely equal. I'm sure you can do better (I wrote these with a mouse, but you have a marker).
