Hi Jordi I really liked your website and I'm very interested in having you design me a tattoo of my name that will go on the underside of my wrist.I would like it in the deewaanee style and if possible in a drop shape.
The things I'm looking for in the design are: 1. Lines - not too thick (as it's going to be a small area) but I would like to have depth to the lines to show curved lines etc. 2. I really like the look of the picture on your home page for the drop shaped. Would my name have enough letters to give that dropped shape look on its own or would it need to be duplicated? 3. I don't want a straight line or anything that is too square or box looking.
I hope these suggestions help reflect what I'm looking for and make the design process easier.
Would that all my customers knew what they wanted as well as you.
Yes, it can be done, and that name has enough letters.
The simplest way is this:
That looks simpler than the sample on my home page so I might add a few loops like this:
What do you think?
Well - I definately like parts of all of them (which is making it slightly difficult). I really like the loops in F, I like the overall shape of D, and I like the top-half of E.But the more I think about it I keep going back to the simple design of A. I like how the lines are simple and not too complex and how the lines intersect each other.
I like how the centre horizontal line cuts the middle of the design and the two vertical strokes on the right. My suggestions would be (if possible) to reduce the width of the bottom loop on the left so that the design isn't as wide and if possible somehow include some narrow loops like the F design at the top left corner.
Of course it's possible:
Thanks for tyring the extra designs and adding the loops but I still keep going back to the simplicity of A. I had a friend look at all the designs today and he agreed with A.We both liked that the top and bottom lines of A are pointing up and down (rather than being curled). It just gives it a flowing look.
I really want it as simple as possible so (if I'm not pushing my luck) can I just ask one more final thing: bring in the left side of the design (so that the curve isn't sitting too far out - the curve on H is great) and have the top point of that line finish closer to the top of the other vertical line. But just keep the simplicity of the design.
That should hopefully be it!

Hi Jordi, When I opened the attachment I gasped! It's beautiful.
Thanks for all your help and for trying out all the designs. I'm really happy with what we came up with.
