The Pleiades (M45). From dark skies in Piornal (10/11/07) and Bonilla (16/11/09). FSQ-106 and SXV-H9. Filters: LRGB. Total exposure of 3h 45m.

 

Reflection nebulla  NGC 7023 ( iris). From Bonilla, September 2007. FSQ106 and SXV-H9, LRGB filters. Total exposure: 2 h 40 m.

 

Comet Holmes, October 28th 2007, 21 h TU. C8 at f:6 and SXV-H9. Ten second subexposures with filters G (x30), R (x5) and B (x5). 

CLIC over the image above for a "four colors" image with filters B, G, R and Infra-red (Astronomik IR Planet). Respectively, the following colors were asigned to each filtered image: Dark blue, Light Green, Orange and Dark red.

 

Nebulla surrounding Rho Ophiuchi, from Bonilla (40º North), on May 14th 2007. FSQ106 and SXV-H9. LRGB filters. Exposure: 90 minutes. Altitude over the southern horizon of Rho Ophiuchi:  25º.

Total lunar eclipse on March 3-4th 2007, as seen from Las Navas del Marques (Spain). Images obtained with afocal projection, Takahashi FSQ-106 refractor and a 26 mm eyepiece.  Sony DSC-P150 digital camera, with zoom (3x) and without zoom, 5 second exposures each.

 

 

 Cone and fox fur nebullae in NGC2264 in monoceros. From Bonilla on january 2007. FSQ-106 and SXV-H9. H alpha, R, G, B filters. Total exposure 165 minutes for the color image, and 2 hours for the H alpha image. Color processing: luminance = H alpha+R+G+B; red channel = H alpha+R; green channel = G; blue channel = B.

 

NGC6960, veil nebulla (east fragment). From Bonilla, August 26th 2006. FSQ-106 and SXV-H9. Filters: L,R,G,B. Total exposure of 2 hours. Some cirrus clouds present.

Galaxy trio M65, M66 and NGC3628 in Leo. Obtained over two nights (april 9 and 12, 2005), from Montes de Toledo and Pozuelo. FSQ-106 at f75 and SXV-H9 camera, autoguided. Filters: LRGB and CLS, total exposure 5 hours.

North America nebulla, from Vilancosta (Pontevedra), july 2004. 80 mm achromatic refractor at f:5, SXV-H9 autoguided. Filters: red + CLS, green + CLS, blue + CLS (CLS filter from Astronomik in all exposures ). Total exposure: 90 minutes. 

 

NGC 5907 from Pozuelo, 2004. C-8 at f:6, SXV-H9 autoguided. Filters: unfiltered, red, green and blue. Total exposure 3 hours.

 

M57 from Pozuelo, 2004. C-8 at f:10, SXV-H9 autoguided. Filters: unfiltered, red, green, blue and OIII. Total exposure: 90 minutes.

   Saturn in opposition, December/30/2003, from Pozuelo. C-8 and Quickcam VC at f:30. Average of 70 selected frames of a three minutes AVI sequence, processed in Registax 2 and Photoshop.

    M27, planetary nebulla. From Pozuelo de Alarcón, september/27/2002. C-8 at f:5, Cookbook 245 camera. Color image obtained combining 30x1 minutes red, 10x1 minutes green and 10x1 minutes blue filtered images. Red and blue images were summed for providing the luminosity in Adobe Phososhop.

 

   M17, emisión nebulla. From Pozuelo de Alarcón, July/16/2001. C-8 at f:6.3, Cookbook 245 camera. Color image obtained combining 70x0.5 minutes red, 10x1 minutes green and 10x1 minutes blue filtered images. The red filtered image was employed for luminosity in Adobe Photoshop.

 

 
    M57. Image taken from Las Navas del Marques on 9/2/2000 with the CB245 camera and the C-8 at f10. Multiple sixty second subexposures, totalling 3 minutes unfiltered, 3 minutes cyan, 3 minutes magenta and 3 minutes yellow.
