But especially he has written Historical Novel, Short Novel and Poetry, both in Spanish and in the Extremaduran Language.
Juan José Camisón demonstrates with the use of the word and the multiple shades of the Extremadura language in situations so diverse as the tenderness, the tragedy, the cunning, the eroticism or the sauciness that, far from being this one a dialect of coarse people- as to many like to label it - the Extremaduran is a versatile, rich and deep language that can express the feelings of the human being so well, but better, than the Spanish or that any other language do.
Being native of Cáceres, nevertheless he never forgot the rich vocabulary of Badajoz that he learned of young man, and that is always present in all his Extremaduran poems.
It has been included in the FIRST ANTHOLOGY OF EXTREMADURAN POETRY: FROM GABRIEL Y GALÁN TO TO JUAN JOSÉ CAMISÓN, translated in German in IBERIA POLYGLOTTA and translated in french by YVONNE ET ISABELLE BRAULT.
