race from the derby on the 29th of April. Thanks to the financial
support of the government all participants & guests could have free
hotel & accomodation during their stay in Tenerife |

| A group of fanciers in front of a part of the Derby
loft... The small guy in the left of Jose just brought in the first 2
youngsters for the derby race of next year. His name is Jose Antonio and
he lives in Lanzarote. On the complete right you can see Carmelo.

Jose Ledesma with the trophees he made for the
winners of the final race. Jose made these trophees himself.
Jose is not only good in racing pigeons, he is extremely succesul in
many different fields of human endeavor. He also produces incredible
music and has his own CD. The CD consists of popular island traditional
sounds. He has vision that he is able to express in music and in the
forming of living art in his pigeons. Beautiful music, beautiful design,
beautiful racing pigeons, a great family...what more could you wish to
achieve ? |
