1/2 kilo of broccoli
2 carrots
unrefined seasalt
Sauce:
3 tablespoons of Tamari (natural soya sauce)
2 tablespoons of rice or apple vinegar
1 tablespoon of sesame oil
Wash carrots and slice thin and diagonal. Add to a little boiling water with a pinch of seasalt. After 3-4 minutes strain the carrots. You can use the same water for the broccoli.
Cut broccoli in flowerrets. Slice the stem thin. Add to the boiling water. Cook between 7-10 minutes. The broccoli should be a little tender but it should mantain a rich green colour. Strain. (This water can be saved for making soups).
Mix all the ingredients for the sauce. When you serve the vegetable dish on the plate season with the sauce. Enjoy!
