1 cup of millet
3 cups of mineral water
A pinch of unrefined seasalt
sesame oil (optional)

 

Put the water to boil in a pot and Cover. Lightly brush the sesame oil in a skillet. Sauté the millet for a few minutes till its golden brown, and has a nutty fragrance.
When the water is boiling add the millet. Put a heat diffuser underneath the pot and simmer on low fire for 30 minutes.

 

Millet is very high in vitamin B (thiamin). It is good for bone development. Very beneficial for the pancreas and spleen. Helps the condition of our eyes. Good for stomach problems. High in protein, iron and niacin.
