SPLIT PEA SOUP
1 cup split pea
3 cups of mineral water
kombu seaweed 7-8 cm. long
carrots cut 1 cm. pieces and round
unrefined seasalt
Wash split peas, add kombu seaweed cut in 1 cm. square. Add water and carrots. Bring to a boil on high fire. Once it is boiling lower the fire, and cook on low flame for about 1 1/2 hours or until the split pea disintegrates. You may add more water if you like a thinner consistency. When its ready add salt for taste.
