Bilbao is actually an ideal city for walking thanks to the numerous pedestrian areas and big avenues it has. The great urbanistic projects, have turned the Biscayan capital into a much more kinder city with its inhabitants and visitors than it was in the past. We point out the riverside of the estuary of Bilbao and specially the tour between the Town Hall and the Maritime Museum Ria de Bilbao, passing in front of the Concert Hall, the Guggenheim Museum and the University of Deusto.

For the lover of modern architecture, Bilbao has turned into a referent and he will be able to enjoy of great designs as the Calatrava footbridge, which joins both banks of the estuary, the Euskalduna Conference Centre and Concert Hall, the Isozaki towers, the Pedro Arrupe footbridge (which approaches us to the University of Deusto) and the famous Guggenheim Museum.

Taking the underground's line 1, we will enjoy Getxo and its beaches in only 30 min. Otherwise we can opt for the BEC (Bilbao Exhibition Centre), taking the new line 2.
