Extreme News

I've been using Google news for a while now to filter news and discover new items of interest from this site.

This page is experimental - it takes a filtered Google News RSS feed and republishes it using Feedburner. This strips out the "Google News" blog name and replaces it with "Dr.K.Extreme Tales News"

Right now I am filtering news on the following keywords: extreme-sports, skydiving, skysurfing, snowboarding, wingsuits, skateboarding, free-climbing, free-diving, parkour, base-jumping, street-luge, wind-surfing, extreme-tales, surfing, bungee-jumping, kite-surfing, cave-diving, freefall.

If I get time I will change this around and feed the feedburner through Feed Rinse to remove the "Top Stories" and also provide a chiclet for feed.

Annoyances: (i) Everytime I change the keyword clusters in Google News the URL changes and I have to manually update the URL in FeedBurner. (ii) The original idea was to aggregate lots of feeds into Rojo - but Rojo strips out all my carefully inserted Category and subcategory information. (iii) If I go over 20 keywords I need a new Google account, a new URL and new RSS feed - then aggregate - but Rojo mangles the aggregated feed. It works fine in Omea Reader but glitches in RSSOwl
