Can Majoral is our family nickname; it's the name given to someone after a personal quality, shortcoming, habit, job,… Linguist Francesc de Borja Moll points out that besides our official name a second and more familiar name appears, given for some sentimental reasons, which is in Catalan language malnom or sobrenom.

Nicknames are part of each town's history and of Majorcan essence, and our family is from Can Majoral.

Wines with the label Can Majoral are our quality wines. They are characterized for being varietal wines or sort-based ones, where a certain variety becomes the trunk, with small additions of others that make the wine gain higher complexity. In the case of our two white wines, fermentation takes place into new barrels followed by cask ageing, and by our four sorts of red wine, ageing will evolve into new or one-year-old barrels for at least 12 months. The names of the wines have been given after our labour lands or some closest and remarkable place names pretty beloved in our family.
