Voluntary Interpreting Service

This is available at Denia Hospital every week day from 11 am to 2 pm. An "On Call" service is available at weekends from 10 am to 4 pm, at the request of the Hospital Medical Staff ONLY.

The HELP Reception Desk is situated on the left of the Main Reception Hall of the Alta Marina Hospital, and is staffed by Volunteers (not interpreters), from 11 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday, to help where possible, and contact Interpreters should they be needed.

Private Interpreting Service

Interpreters for Alicante & Valencia

Doctors are now insisting that patients who do not understand or speak Spanish have an interpreter with them. Here are the details of 2 ladies who are willing to accompany patients in Alicante and Valencia.

Alicante: Vanessa Hernandez Peral - Tel 649606035. Vanessa charges €12 an hour.

Valencia: Susan SanJuan - Tel 962758759 or 606517656. Susan charges a flat fee of €50 but no limit on time.
